DESCRIPTION:The Gong Puja is sacred sound ceremony and celebration developed by Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux. The Gong Puja lasts for 7.5 hours\, or 10 consecutive 45 minute gong baths. During the Puja\, we sleep through the night into the early morning bathed in healing sound vibrations. The sleep maybe meditative and you may enter a relaxed dream-like state. Through a series of magical connections\, she started taking private lessons with local sound teacher Lana Ryder in 2020 through her Soundwise School of Harmonic Therapy\, which Monica now teaches classes and workshops for. Monica also continuously trains under Alexandre Tannous\, who is an ethnomusicologist\, sound therapist and sound researcher in NYC\, and David Shemesh\, an incredibly skilled sound facilitator and teacher based in Portugal. She enjoys continuing her education from other highly skilled sound practitioners such as Mitch Nur and Mike Tamburo.
