DESCRIPTION:Why Puff & Paint? \nCalling all beginner artists and seasoned painters: Channel your creative fire with a little help from your friends and a sparked-up pre-roll! \nWe encourage you to bring an open mind\, as Heather Hostetter guides us through the creative process of transferring ideas from your imagination to a canvas you can take home and proudly display. \nMany artists use cannabis to conjure creativity and ground them in the moment with their medium. We encourage cannabis use to calm the nerves and get the brush flowing across the canvas. \nOur goal is to create more than a canvas\, we want to build a sense of community where we have fun and break the stigma surrounding cannabis\, on painting at a time! \nCLASS DATE: Friday\, October 6\, 2023 \nTIME: 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm \nCLASS FEE: $25.00 ($5 HEMP FLOWER pre-roll available with ticket purchase) \nINSTRUCTOR BIO: Heather Hostetter\, MA\, MBA\, ATR-BC\, LPC is a local Art Therapist and artist with over 25 years of helping the community cope and strive towards wellness with the process of creating together. \nMUST BE 18 years or older to attend the class. \n\n\n\nPlease note: This is a cannabis-friendly space; however\, we ask that if you consume medical marijuana (MMJ) on-site\, that you show a valid PA ID and PA MMJ card. All PA MMJ brought into the facility must be in approved PA medical marijuana packaging with the patient’s information clearly visible. All PA MMJ card holders MUST abide by PA MMJ regulations including NO COMBUSTION of PA MMJ. Vaping\, oils\, tinctures\, sprays\, capsules\, and troches are permitted but absolutely no smokable equipment or tools are allowed onsite.

DESCRIPTION:Blend the magic of cannabis with the craft of cooking in this introductory class that will teach you the basics of cooking with cannabis. Held in our demo kitchen\, we will show you how to make infused butter and oil to give you the building blocks to include hemp in your dishes! \nDecarb & Infuse \nDecarboxylation\, or decarb for short\, is the process of altering the chemical makeup of cannabis to create a potent formula for edibles\, oils\, and salves. During this class\, you’ll learn the decarboxylation process so you can infuse your medical marijuana or hemp flower into foods. \nDosing Edibles \nUnless you invest in an at-home THC tester\, there’s no way to know exactly how potent your infusion is. You can\, however\, do a calculation to get a rough estimate of potency. During this session\, we’ll go over the process of dosing edibles to ensure safe consumption.* \nINSTRUCTOR BIO: As a chronic pain sufferer\, related to spine issues and migraines\, Heather Kreider a Registered Nurse\, knows first-hand how cannabis can help patients live a happier\, healthier life. She is an Medical Marijuana card holder in PA\, cannabis advocate and strives to break the stigma that cannabis users are “a bunch of burnouts.” Heather is also certified in Advanced Cannabis Training and is PA Dispensary Agent Certified. \nHeather also helps patients navigate the process of obtaining a medical marijuana card\, working with dispensaries\, and determining the medical marijuana formulations and application methods that will best target the symptoms they’re experiencing. Her goal is to alleviate the gap in patient education by helping individuals understand the different types of cannabinoids\, terpenes\, and ways to consume medical marijuana. She also helps guide patients in how to safely administer the products they purchase. \n*Basic recipe include. \nNOTE: You do not need to be a PA Medical Marijuana patient to attend the class.

DESCRIPTION:CLASS DESCRIPTION: If you enjoy cannabis\, wouldn’t it be so cool to smoke out of something YOU created?! Well you can! We are having a POT-tery Paint Night with The Glazing Sun. You can select a bowl or water pipe to paint\, there will be a large selection of colors to paint with – Alana will be there to tell you all the things you need to know about painting pottery. She will have lots of inspiration for you to create a beautiful piece to toke out of. The pottery will need to be fired in the kiln so you can pick them up about a week later at Hempfield Apothetique. \nINSTRUCTOR BIO: Alana\, owner of The Glazing Sun has been into ceramics for 6 years now! A nursing student turned into artist & business owner. She started out by painting ceramics with bright colors / glazes and selling them at art shows! Now\, she has a shop in Marietta that you can shop other small businesses and a pottery painting studio for you to create your OWN works of art. Alana loves spreading colorfulness and good vibes into the world with her colorful shop and getting others to express their creativity. \nWHAT TO WEAR/BRING: The paint / glazes are all water soluble so anything you get on you will wash right out! \nDATE: 10/20/2023 \nTIME: 5:00-7:00 \nCLASS FEE: $25 per person for bowls/pipes | $55 per person for water pipes/ bongs (please make sure to select the correct ticket price below) \nPLEASE NOTE: Must be 21 to attend.
