Lancaster MusicFest 2023 will benefit Children’s Miracle Network and the Music Therapy Program at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.

Lead institute\, Johns Hopkins University\, uses the name The Center for Psychedelic and Conciousness Research to reflect the above quote. \nHarvard psychology professors Timothy Leary and Richard Alpert more than a half century before the “Renaisance” engaged in their own psychedelic research that resulted in both of their expulsions from the school. The government sent Leary to jail. Alpert went to India to continue his psychedelic inspired spiritual quest. Frustrated and depressed Dick Alpert was ready to come home after months of seeking. Finally as fate/karma would have it he found his way to his guru and to his new incarnation as Ram Dass. \nRam Dass wrote the groundbreaking “Remember- Be Here Now” story of his awakening process.
