The Scryptitch Wood Puppet Show by Annajane

Annajane (she/they) is an eccentric storyteller and immersive host, inviting participants into a flowing interpretation of her inner landscape—one shaped by nature, otherness, and the ephemeral threads connecting all of humanity. Through installations, puppetry, and tactile art pieces, she tempts viewers to collaborate with the divinity of connection itself. Raised in constant motion, Annajane developed a vivid inner world while wandering the woods beyond the beige sprawl of suburbia. As an adult, her practice becomes a portal between that inner realm and the tangible world, forged through storytelling, myth-making, and make-believe.

Rooted in folklore and folk art, influenced by 20th-century surrealism, kitsch and camp, and the magic of puppetry and stop-motion animation, her work invites viewers to wander deeper. Each piece nudges the audience toward conceptual questions both mundane and mystical. Color, symbolism, characters, and environmental settings create fertile ground—soft soil where those questions can be unearthed and examined.

Committed to the history, present, and future of humankind and our relationship to the Earth, Annajane primarily works with found and recycled materials. Each object carries its own narrative, repurposed to retell the stories of human lives, the communities we’ve formed, and our eternal rebirth back into ourselves.

In a world that often forces us to fracture, Annajane’s work gently whispers to the inner child of every reality-worn adult: “Remember who you are.” It is a calling-in, an invitation to the entire community to reconnect, reimagine, and reawaken.

• Cancellations made 24 hours or more prior to the start of event will receive a full refund.
• No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 24 hours of the class start time, or for no-shows.
• Tickets are NOT transferable unless you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

BYOB Policy for The Lounge at Hempfield Apothetique:

We aim to provide a safe, enjoyable, and classy environment for all guests. Please carefully review our BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) policy:

While we specialize in providing premium hemp-derived THC-infused cocktails and products, we also allow guests to bring their own alcoholic beverages to enjoy during their visit. To ensure a seamless experience for all, we have established the following BYOB guidelines:

1. Bottle Fee

• Guests bringing their own alcoholic beverages are required to pay a $20 bottle fee per bottle. Six-pack fee is $10 per six pack. This fee helps cover the costs of providing use of the space, glassware, and the clean-up services associated with BYOB.
• The fee applies to each bottle brought into The Lounge, including wine, spirits, and other beverages.

2. Permitted Beverages

• BYOB includes: wine, spirits, beers, ciders. Coolers or other beverages are not permitted.
• Alcoholic beverages must arrive in sealed, unopened containers.

3. Age Requirements

• All guests must be 21 years or older and provide valid identification upon entry.

4. Responsible Consumption

• We encourage responsible consumption and reserve the right to refuse service or request that individuals discontinue alcohol consumption if necessary.
• No drinking is permitted directly from open bottles or cans.

5. Bud Bar Offerings

• Guests can purchase mocktails from our Bud Bar to use as mixers for their beverages, enhancing their BYOB experience with our unique creations.

6. Pairing with Lounge Offerings

• Guests are welcome to enjoy their BYOB beverages alongside our hemp-derived THC products and infused offerings for a complete experience.

7. Payment and Entry

• The $10-$20 bottle fee must be paid upon entry at the bud bar before beverages are served.

8. Outside Mixers and Glassware

• Please refrain from bringing outside mixers or glassware. We will provide appropriate drinkware, and additional mixers can be purchased at the Bud Bar.
