INSTRUCTOR BIO:

Cynda Valle is a dedicated oil painter and instructor whose work captures the essence of human life through a lens uniquely shaped by her time, culture, and personal perspective. With a deep appreciation for the beauty in ordinary moments, Valle’s paintings transform domestic scenes into luminous, surreal narratives, rich with pattern and emotion. Her art reflects the fragile poignancy of life, freezing fleeting moments on canvas with masterful technique and heartfelt intention.

For over 30 years, Valle has painted daily, honing her craft and embracing the lifelong journey of learning and perfecting the technical skills of oil painting. Her commitment to this process is evident in the depth and vibrancy of her work, which resonates with both emotional and visual complexity.

Emerging onto the Los Angeles art scene in the 1980s, Valle has built an impressive career with an extensive national exhibition record. Her work has been showcased in prestigious venues such as the SFMOMA Artist’s Gallery, Grace Hudson Museum, Long Beach Museum of Art, The Lobby at The United Nations, Armory Arts Center, Riverside Art Museum, and Couturier Gallery, among many others. She currently resides in South Pasadena and works out of her studio at the Los Angeles Brewery.

Valle’s art has garnered critical acclaim, with reviews and features in prominent publications including LA Weekly, American Artist Magazine, ARTnews Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, and Artweek. Her work has also been highlighted in numerous exhibition catalogues, solidifying her reputation as a significant voice in contemporary oil painting.

Through her art and teaching, Cynda Valle continues to inspire others, sharing her passion for the craft and her unique ability to find extraordinary beauty in the everyday.

• Cancellations made 24 hours or more prior to the start of class will receive a full refund.
• No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 24 hours of the class start time, or for no-shows.
• Class tickets are NOT transferable unless you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

BYOB Policy for The Lounge at Hempfield Apothetique:

We aim to provide a safe, enjoyable, and classy environment for all guests. Please carefully review our BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) policy:

While we specialize in providing premium hemp-derived THC-infused cocktails and products, we also allow guests to bring their own alcoholic beverages to enjoy during their visit. To ensure a seamless experience for all, we have established the following BYOB guidelines:

1. Bottle Fee

• Guests bringing their own alcoholic beverages are required to pay a $20 bottle fee per bottle. Six-pack fee is $10 per six pack. This fee helps cover the costs of providing use of the space, glassware, and the clean-up services associated with BYOB.
• The fee applies to each bottle brought into The Lounge, including wine, spirits, and other beverages.

2. Permitted Beverages

• BYOB includes: wine, spirits, beers, ciders. Coolers or other beverages are not permitted.
• Alcoholic beverages must arrive in sealed, unopened containers.

3. Age Requirements

• All guests must be 21 years or older and provide valid identification upon entry.

4. Responsible Consumption

• We encourage responsible consumption and reserve the right to refuse service or request that individuals discontinue alcohol consumption if necessary.
• No drinking is permitted directly from open bottles or cans.

5. Bud Bar Offerings

• Guests can purchase mocktails from our Bud Bar to use as mixers for their beverages, enhancing their BYOB experience with our unique creations.

6. Pairing with Lounge Offerings

• Guests are welcome to enjoy their BYOB beverages alongside our hemp-derived THC products and infused offerings for a complete experience.

7. Payment and Entry

• The $10-$20 bottle fee must be paid upon entry at the bud bar before beverages are served.

8. Outside Mixers and Glassware

• Please refrain from bringing outside mixers or glassware. We will provide appropriate drinkware, and additional mixers can be purchased at the Bud Bar.
