Join us on Saturday, January 17th, from 8 pm to 10 pm, as we welcome local musician, Winter Parks (James Kippel) to The Lounge!

Winter Parks drifts comfortably between RnB, jazz, and dreamy singer-songwriter soundscapes, crafting music that feels like a late-night drive through your own thoughts. Rooted in easy-listening grooves but lifted by atmospheric, space-tinged textures, Winter Parks creates a world where mellow vocals, warm chords, and soft rhythmic pulses guide the listener inward.

Blending soulful nuance with a cosmic shimmer, Winter Parks’ sound is equal parts intimate and expansive — a slow exhale wrapped in velvet. If you’re looking for a rough approximation, think Jazz-leaning RnB with a celestial twist. But really, Winter Parks is all about vibe: reflective, textured, and effortlessly smooth.

Live in The Lounge performances are free events (no cover!) so come in and enjoy our green goods while soaking in good vibes and great music!

About: Winter Parks is the solo project of Harrisburg native James Klippel, a multi-instrumental force of nature who planted new creative roots in Lancaster, PA, in 2018. Since then, he’s become a familiar face in the city’s vibrant arts scene, sharing the stage with a variety of music acts and effortlessly jumping between keyboard, bass, guitar, and drums.

James has chatted about his creative process on The Story Podcast and showcased his talent with three live in-studio performances at WITF Harrisburg. As Winter Parks, his sound is shaped by whatever instrument he picks up first:
– On drums? Expect a whole different energy, something raw and rhythm-driven that lights up the songwriting process.
– On keyboard? Things smooth out into laid-back grooves with a lush neo-soul vibe.
– On guitar? Get ready for a funk-leaning feel that pulls you in.

Fluid, versatile, and always evolving, Winter Parks is James’ sonic playground — and every instrument opens a new doorway into his world.

Please note: This is a cannabis-friendly space. Only combustion of cannabis is allowed onsite (no tobacco). Absolutely NO OUTSIDE CANNABIS is allowed onsite. All cannabis must be purchased in house.

We aim to provide a safe, enjoyable, and classy environment for all guests. Please carefully review our BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) policy:

While we specialize in providing premium hemp-derived THC-infused cocktails and products, we also allow guests to bring their own alcoholic beverages to enjoy during their visit. To ensure a seamless experience for all, we have established the following BYOB guidelines:

1. Bottle Fee

• Guests bringing their own alcoholic beverages are required to pay a $20 bottle fee per bottle. Six-pack fee is $10 per six pack. This fee helps cover the costs of providing use of the space, glassware, and the clean-up services associated with BYOB.
• The fee applies to each bottle brought into The Lounge, including wine, spirits, and other beverages.

2. Permitted Beverages

• BYOB includes: wine, spirits, beers, ciders. Coolers or other beverages are not permitted.
• Alcoholic beverages must arrive in sealed, unopened containers.

3. Age Requirements

• All guests must be 21 years or older and provide valid identification upon entry.

4. Responsible Consumption

• We encourage responsible consumption and reserve the right to refuse service or request that individuals discontinue alcohol consumption if necessary.
• No drinking is permitted directly from open bottles or cans.

5. Bud Bar Offerings

• Guests can purchase mocktails from our Bud Bar to use as mixers for their beverages, enhancing their BYOB experience with our unique creations.

6. Pairing with Lounge Offerings

• Guests are welcome to enjoy their BYOB beverages alongside our hemp-derived THC products and infused offerings for a complete experience.

7. Payment and Entry

• The $10-$20 bottle fee must be paid upon entry at the bud bar before beverages are served.

8. Outside Mixers and Glassware

• Please refrain from bringing outside mixers or glassware. We will provide appropriate drinkware, and additional mixers can be purchased at the Bud Bar.
