During this class\, you’ll learn the decarboxylation process so you can infuse your medical marijuana or hemp flower into foods. \nDosing Edibles \nUnless you invest in an at-home THC tester\, there’s no way to know exactly how potent your infusion is. You can\, however\, do a calculation to get a rough estimate of potency. During this session\, we’ll go over the process of dosing edibles to ensure safe consumption.* \nINSTRUCTOR BIO: As a chronic pain sufferer\, related to spine issues and migraines\, Heather Kreider a Registered Nurse\, knows first-hand how cannabis can help patients live a happier\, healthier life. Each student will get to learn about the history of djembe drums\, dive into traditional rhythms\, and much more! Tammi will guide us through some of the ancient traditional beats and inspire you to unleash the rhythms in your own soul. Did you know drums have distinct notes? Discover the three traditional notes\, explore the instrument’s rich history and culture\, and create your own unique rhythms. Through a series of magical connections\, she started taking private lessons with local sound teacher Lana Ryder in 2020 through her Soundwise School of Harmonic Therapy\, which Monica now teaches classes and workshops for. Monica also continuously trains under Alexandre Tannous\, who is an ethnomusicologist\, sound therapist and sound researcher in NYC\, and David Shemesh\, an incredibly skilled sound facilitator and teacher based in Portugal. She enjoys continuing her education from other highly skilled sound practitioners such as Mitch Nur and Mike Tamburo. Monica has been a full time sound practitioner since 2021\, offering group and private Sound Sessions in the area\, as well as for corporate events and retreats.
