SUMMARY:Restorative Yoga (90 Minute)
DESCRIPTION:Crafted to combat the everyday stresses that take a toll on both mind and body. This meditative form of yoga is designed to bring tranquility\, enhance balance\, promote healing\, and fortify your immune system. It’s all about easing the grip of stress. \nRestorative yoga takes a gentle approach\, focusing on breathwork and holding poses for longer durations. Picture a more laid-back\, passive\, and unhurried practice that allows your body tissues to take a well-deserved break and bounce back. The pace is deliberately slower\, creating a space for both mind and body to unwind. \nTo add to the relaxation\, props like blocks\, straps\, and bolsters may join the party\, offering support to help you find that perfect\, comfortable pose. \nWhy does it work so well? Restorative yoga teams up with the parasympathetic nervous system\, the superhero of stress relief. With its slow poses and breathwork\, it not only slows down the heart rate but also directs a flow of rejuvenating blood to your vital organs. It’s like hitting the reset button for your well-being! \nDATE: Thursday\, August 8\, 2024 \nTIME: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm \nCLASS LENGTH: 90 minutes \nCLASS FEE: $15.00 \nYOGA INSTRUCTOR BIO: Beth Weaver is a Modern Alchemist\, a visionary and psychic with a drive to introduce people to their highest selves. Her way of seeing the physical and subtle human energy system leads her to notice dis-ease\, discomfort\, and desires in the physical and energetic subtle bodies. This information helps her to guide others to a greater sense of awareness and well-being. She uses her skills to address psycho-emotional and soul-related challenges that often present in the physical body. My gentle yet direct approach has guided clients to understand and articulate feelings and overcome obstacles. \n

SUMMARY:Restorative Yoga (90 Minute)
DESCRIPTION:Designed to combat the mental and physical repercussions of everyday stress. Still the mind\, increase balance and capacity for healing\, boosts immune system functions\, and deeply relaxes the body to alleviate built up stress. \nA meditative form of yoga with a focus on breathwork and longer-held poses. More relaxed\, passive\, and slow-paced\, allowing the body tissue to rest and recover. Restorative yoga releases mind-body tension by moving at a slower\, more-relaxed pace that allows the body tissues to rest and recover. Props\, such as blocks\, straps\, and bolsters\, may be used to support your pose with ease to achieve relaxed comfort. \nRestorative yoga works with the parasympathetic nervous system\, which targets our response to stress in the body. Slow poses paired with breathwork can slow down the heart rate while increasing blood flow to your vital organs. \nCLASS LENGTH: 90 minutes \nYOGA INSTRUCTOR BIO: Beth Weaver is a Modern Alchemist\, a visionary and psychic with a drive to introduce people to their highest selves. SUMMARY:Gong Puja
DESCRIPTION:The Gong Puja is sacred sound ceremony and celebration developed by Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux. The Gong Puja lasts for 7.5 hours\, or 10 consecutive 45 minute gong baths. During the Puja\, we sleep through the night into the early morning bathed in healing sound vibrations. The sleep maybe meditative and you may enter a relaxed dream-like state. Deep relaxation from the gong bath can help you to cleanse\, release tension and blocks. \nYogi Bhajan taught that a 45-minute going session would clear any immediate blocks\, and that ten 45-minute sessions would clear most blocks. \nThis Gong Puja Is being offered leading up to the full supermoon. It is the perfect time to release what no longer serves you\, to release all blocks\, while also setting the attention to bring in what you’d like to receive. \nThe Partial Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon have potent astrological implications.  This eclipse is about awakening to the need to enjoy the fruits of our labors and to connect with our desire to take care of ourselves and our needs.  This is a passionate and creative Full Moon eclipse\, ripe with possibilities and learning experiences \nWe will have caffeine free tea to share before and after the gong puja. \nDATE: Saturday\, October 28\, 2023 through Sunday\, October 29\, 2023 \nPRICING: \nEarly bird pricing (before 10/08/2023): $111.00 \n10/09/2023 – 10/22/2023: 125.00 \n10/23/2023 – 10/28/2023 (if space is available): $150.00 \nReservation’s are required- no walk-ins. \nPUJA SCHEDULE: \n\n9:15 pm: Arrive and set up your nest.\n9:45 pm: Welcome and tune in\, intention setting\, pranayama and meditation.\n10:00 pm: The Gongs begin.\n5:30 am: The Gongs end.\n5:45 am: Gentle wake up and movement\, Long Time Sun\, and Yogi Tea.\n6:00 am: Start your day bright & shiny.\n\nNOTE: Please bring comfortable bedding about the size of your yoga mat. Ear plugs will not prevent you from receiving the benefits of the vibrational sound bath. Additional items to bring include : water bottle\, eye mask\, crystals and other sacred objects. SUMMARY:Restorative Yoga
\nCLASS LENGTH: 60 minutes \nYOGA INSTRUCTOR BIO: Beth Weaver is a Modern Alchemist\, a visionary and psychic with a drive to introduce people to their highest selves. \nCLASS FEE: $15.00

SUMMARY:Community Acupuncture + the 5 Elements Series: Autumn Treatment
DESCRIPTION:Community Acupuncture + the 5 Elements Series: Autumn Treatment\nIn Traditional Chinese Medicine\, the five elements are associated with the seasons of Spring\, Summer\, Late Summer\, Autumn\, and Winter. Each element has many associations\, including organs\, meridians\, and characteristics. Because all five elements are present within each of us\, acupuncture can be especially beneficial at points of seasonal change\, helping us to keep them all in balance\, resulting in better health. \nCommunity acupuncture is used for overall well-being and stress management and is facilitated in a group setting rather than on an individual basis. Participants are fully supported by a zero-gravity chair and will receive a 30 – 45-minute acupuncture treatment involving the insertion of very thin needles to strategic points on arms\, legs\, and ears intended to elicit a relaxation response. \nFOCUS: During this session\, we will focus on an acupuncture treatment designed to work with the organs associated with the Chinese medicine element of Earth; the Spleen and the Stomach. We will also cover some of the other correspondences of Earth but special attention to Earth’s pillar of health & wellbeing: Food and Nutrition \nELEMENT: Earth \nDATE: Friday\, September 15\, 2023 \nTIME: 5:30 pm – 7pm \nTREATMENT FEE: $40 \nACUPUNCTURIST BIO: Nick Dower\, LAc\, is a licensed acupuncturist with Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Holistic Therapy. He has a master’s degree in acupuncture from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies where he also completed a certificate program in Chinese herbal medicine. Nick practices and teaches various styles of meditation\, breathing\, yoga\, and qi gong. He has a special interest in using Chinese medical philosophy\, combined with behavior change models\, for teaching and developing the pillars of well-being.
