SUMMARY:Cacao Circle
DESCRIPTION:Theobroma cacao\, translated to Food of the Gods\, is a superfood that is loaded with antioxidants\, an excellent source of vitamins and minerals\, and is a protector of the heart. It is known to offer a revitalizing and uplifting energy that supports the expansion of the physical\, mental\, and spiritual bodies. The cacao we will enjoy is sourced from Ecuadorian 5000+ year old heirloom trees grown and handled with respect and love. \nIn this session\, Joshua will lead us through intention setting and grounding practices to give ourselves permission to pause and fully arrive. Then\, he will introduce cacao with songs\, prayers\, and an informative talk on its scientific and energetic benefits. After we take our first sip together\, we’ll open the space for storytelling\, vulnerable sharing\, reflections\, contemplations\, celebrations\, and compassionate listening followed by a relaxed and meditative soundscape to integrate our discussions. We will conclude with a unified space for sharing our experiences. \nDate: Thursday\, January 9\, 2025\nTime: 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm\nMinimum class attendance (invite a friend): 5\nFee: $40 per person \nFacilitator Bio: Joshua is a devoted student to the path of the awakening heart. Over the past 6 years\, his personal heart opening experiences with cacao have led him to dive deeply into its medicinal purposes\, ritual\, and rich history. He has been fortunate to work with the Cacao Laboratory team in NYC and study under the guidance of Mayan and Sapara lineages. This path continues to inspire him to share the medicine of cacao with enthusiasm and respect. \nAlong with cacao\, he has dedicated the past 5 years studying the effects sound has on the brain and body facilitating deep sound meditations with gong\, singing bowls\, bells\, flute\, and other overtone emitting instruments. He is also a 200hr registered yoga teacher and lover of all things that bring us together to experience the power of community. His approach is grounded in creating inclusive spaces where individuals can connect deeply and authentically on their journey of self-discovery. \nWhat to wear/bring/tips: It is recommended that you drink cacao on an empty stomach so that you can more quickly digest your cacao. Wear what is most comfortable to you. Be authentic in your expression. Please bring with you a water bottle\, journal\, pencil/pen\, eye mask (if available)\, an open heart\, and anything that helps you feel at home. \nClass No-Show & Cancellation Policy \nAt Hempfield Apothetique\, we strive to provide the best experience for all our guests. To help us plan and prepare accordingly\, please review our class cancellation policy below: \n\nCancellations made 24 hours or more prior to the start of class will receive a full refund.\nNo refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 24 hours of the class start time\, or for no-shows.\nClass tickets are NOT transferable unless you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.\n\nThank you for understanding and for helping us keep our events running smoothly!

SUMMARY:Restorative Yoga (90 Minute)
DESCRIPTION:Crafted to combat the everyday stresses that take a toll on both mind and body. This meditative form of yoga is designed to bring tranquility\, enhance balance\, promote healing\, and fortify your immune system. It’s all about easing the grip of stress. \nRestorative yoga takes a gentle approach\, focusing on breathwork and holding poses for longer durations. Picture a more laid-back\, passive\, and unhurried practice that allows your body tissues to take a well-deserved break and bounce back. The pace is deliberately slower\, creating a space for both mind and body to unwind. \nTo add to the relaxation\, props like blocks\, straps\, and bolsters may join the party\, offering support to help you find that perfect\, comfortable pose. \nWhy does it work so well? Restorative yoga teams up with the parasympathetic nervous system\, the superhero of stress relief. With its slow poses and breathwork\, it not only slows down the heart rate but also directs a flow of rejuvenating blood to your vital organs. It’s like hitting the reset button for your well-being! \nDATE: Thursday\, December 12\, 2024 \nTIME: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm \nCLASS LENGTH: 90 minutes \nCLASS FEE: $15.00 \nYOGA INSTRUCTOR BIO: Beth Weaver is a Modern Alchemist\, a visionary and psychic with a drive to introduce people to their highest selves. Her way of seeing the physical and subtle human energy system leads her to notice dis-ease\, discomfort\, and desires in the physical and energetic subtle bodies. This information helps her to guide others to a greater sense of awareness and well-being. She uses her skills to address psycho-emotional and soul-related challenges that often present in the physical body.
\nDATE: Thursday\, November 7\, 2024 \nTIME: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm \nCLASS LENGTH: 90 minutes \nCLASS FEE: $15.00 \nYOGA INSTRUCTOR BIO: Beth Weaver is a Modern Alchemist\, a visionary and psychic with a drive to introduce people to their highest selves. My gentle yet direct approach has guided clients to understand and articulate feelings and overcome obstacles. \n

\nDATE: Thursday\, August 8\, 2024 \nTIME: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm \nCLASS LENGTH: 90 minutes \nCLASS FEE: $15.00 \nYOGA INSTRUCTOR BIO: Beth Weaver is a Modern Alchemist\, a visionary and psychic with a drive to introduce people to their highest selves. My gentle yet direct approach has guided clients to understand and articulate feelings and overcome obstacles. \n
