Whether it’s through poetry\, a favorite book excerpt\, or raw emotion\, this night is all about YOU. \nDATE: Friday\, April 18\, 2025 \nTIME: 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm \nFEE: Suggested donation of $10 to support this creative community \nFACILITATOR: Circumstantial Saint is a dynamic force in the creative world—a multifaceted artist\, producer\, journalist\, and event host with a passion for amplifying voices and fostering artistic collaboration. Based in Lancaster\, PA\, they are deeply connected to the region’s thriving arts scene\, working closely with poets\, painters\, drummers\, singers\, activists\, and organizations to cultivate meaningful creative spaces. \nWith strong ties to poets across the country\, Circumstantial Saint bridges the gap between local and national artistry\, promoting both their own work and the incredible talents they collaborate with. Their reach extends beyond Lancaster into the greater Central PA and Philadelphia area—a worldwide hub for poetry—where they continue to shape and contribute to the ever-growing artistic landscape. \nWhether through spoken word\, visual arts\, music\, or journalism\, Circumstantial Saint is dedicated to building community\, sparking conversations\, and making an impact through creativity. \nHere’s what’s brewing for the evening: \n\nOpening (10 min): A warm welcome and introduction to the night.\nNetworking & Mingling (20 min): Encouraging attendees to connect before the performances. Circumstantial Saint will provide sheets for poets to share their social media and work. Network\, get ready for the night\, purchase artists wares\, connect on social media etc.\nOpen Mic (1.5 hours):\n\nEach participant gets two pieces or a 5-minute slot (adjustable based on turnout).\nOpen to poetry\, spoken word\, rap or even excerpts from favorite books/articles.\nBreak (10 min): Time for guests to purchase drinks\, books\, flower\, pre-rolls\, or other products.\nFeatured Poet (30 min): A designated artist who will have an extended performance slot and a dedicated space for their books and promotional materials.\nClosing (10 min): Wrap-up\, final networking\, and decompression.\n\n\n\nCome support local artists\, discover inspiring words\, and leave with a heart full of creativity. \nMUST BE 21 years or older to attend the event. \nPlease note: This is a cannabis-friendly space. Only combustion of cannabis is allowed onsite (no tobacco). For a list full rules\, including our BYOB policy\, please see below. \nBYOB Policy for The Lounge at Hempfield Apothetique \nWe are excited to offer a unique and welcoming environment at The Lounge! While we specialize in providing premium hemp-derived THC-infused cocktails and products\, we also allow guests to bring their own beverages to enjoy during their visit. To ensure a seamless experience for all\, we have established the following BYOB guidelines: \nBottle Fee \n\nGuests bringing their own alcoholic beverages are required to pay a $20 bottle fee per bottle. This fee helps cover the costs of providing use of the space\, glassware\, and the clean-up services associated with BYOB.\nThe fee applies to each bottle brought into The Lounge\, including wine\, spirits\, and other beverages.\n\nPermitted Beverages \n\nBYOB is limited to wine and spirits. Beers\, coolers\, or other beverages are not permitted.\nAlcoholic beverages must arrive in sealed\, unopened containers.\n\n Age Requirements \n\nAll guests must be 21 years or older and provide valid identification upon entry.\n\n Responsible Consumption \n\nWe encourage responsible consumption and reserve the right to refuse service or request that individuals discontinue alcohol consumption if necessary.\nNo drinking is permitted directly from open bottles or cans.\n\nBar Offerings \n\nGuests can purchase mocktails from our Bud Bar to use as mixers for their beverages\, enhancing their BYOB experience with our unique creations\n\nPairing with Lounge Offerings \n\nGuests are welcome to enjoy their BYOB beverages alongside our hemp-derived THC products and infused offerings for a complete experience. No outside cannabis is allowed onsite.\n\n Payment and Entry \n\nThe $20 bottle fee must be paid upon entry at the front desk before beverages are served.\n\n Outside Mixers and Glassware \n\nPlease refrain from bringing outside mixers or glassware. We will provide appropriate drinkware\, and additional mixers can be purchased at the bar.\n\nBy adhering to these guidelines\, you help us create a safe\, enjoyable\, and inclusive space for all guests.
