DESCRIPTION:TRANCE SONICS – The Merging of Hypnotherapy and Sound Healing Workshop \nWorkshop Date: January 22\, 2022 \nWorkshop Time: 9:30am-4:30pm (hour lunch break) \nWORKSHOP FEE: $150 PER PERSON \nThis one day intensive will introduce participants to concepts and practices using sound and music for meditative\, centering\, and healing purposes. Viewing through a double lens\, we will also learn about the nature of trance or hypnosis\, and explore some underlying approaches related to the induction and use of trance. Historically\, hypnotherapy has employed primarily spoken language to induce trance and suggest change. Here\, we will be focusing primarily on non-verbal inductions\, but also addressing how to enhance sound healing practices with elegant linguistic patterns. \nTraditional healers of all cultures have used vibrations – specifically the audible vibrations of sound and music\, to induce and enhance states of healing\, vision and creativity. We will be addressing two questions: How can today’s healers and therapists better utilize music and sound healing practices; and how can those who are following the path of sound healing learn to incorporate spoken “hypnotic” language and an understanding of the “structure” of trancing\, into their existing practice? \nWHAT PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN: Singing bowls\, tingshas and gongs to create fractal healing immersion field • Tuning fork protocols for entrainment • Hypnotic and NLP language patterns (reframing\, the specificity model\, embedded suggestions\, etc.) • Shamanic journeying w/ drum and rattle • Vowel sounds and energy centers in the body • “Magical” Overtone singing and Sino-cranial vibration • Entrainment (The “Frequency Following Effect”) \nINSTRUCTOR BIO: Peter Blum\, a multi-instrumentalist\, creates a unique meditational environment using large gongs\, bells\, cymbals\, tuning forks\, and his collection of over 40 Himalayan singing bowls. He has given workshops and soundhealing concerts at Omega Institute\, Abode of the Message\, The Intʼl Hypnosis Federation\, The Graduate Institute\, and yoga studios across America\, Puerto Rico\, and Mexico. Peter is also an award-winning hypnotherapist and hypnosis instructor\, who has trained hundreds in the spiritual art of hypnosis. He was inducted into the Hypnosis Hall of Fame in 2021. \n

SUMMARY:Sound Immersion Meditation with Peter Blum
DESCRIPTION:For the past 30 years\, Peter has been offering sound meditations around the world. The sonorous and highly resonant sounds of ancient “Sacred singing metal” instruments\, such as the  bowl\, gong\, and bell\, are some of the most beautiful and powerful in terms of promoting a state of well-being and serenity.
